Performance Tuning for Rails Apps

We have recently updated BitNami RubyStack to include FiveRun’s TuneUp This module allows you to do performance tuning of your Ruby on Rails app before you put it into production. TuneUp was developed by FiveRuns and is a free application profiling tool for Rails and Merb developers. It makes it fast and easy to troubleshoot and spot bottlenecks in your app, and even provides a way for you to collaborate with other developers who may be experiencing similar problems. We are glad to announce the availability of the beta version of a tool that will make working with open source web applications and servers even easier than it was before.

The BitNami Control Panel is a (very) simple graphical interface that can start and stop the BitNami servers that are located in the same installation directory.
