Windows installer freezes while unpacking?

Hi,

I’ve now used two Windows installers (0.10.4-7 and 0.10.4-8) but had the same problem with both.

The installer seems to freeze while unpacking INSTALLDIR\pythonPackages\python\.buildcomplete

The file appears to be created (zero bytes) so I’m not 100% that the problem lies with that file or whatever comes next.

Hi,

I’m using Windows XP.

Embarrassingly enough, it has just ‘kicked off’ again and has completed the installation.

The problem could easily lie with this PC (a POS Compaq Evo). I hope so.

Thanks again for the time and effort put into all of these stacks. :)
