Bitname/liferay file structure

Gday, I have been having trouble wit the file paths of the Bitnami install compared to the as opposed to the file paths stated on the Liferay wiki/forums.

I have changed the Banner image through the Enterprise settings and it turns out that the image is to big for the banner and is overlapping all the links and over the image upload box. So I cant change it via the settings page and need to go into the CLI. This is were it is confusing me, the forums etc state that the image is /liferay/images/image.png. The only Images folders I can find are in the ROOT dir and they are all Bitnami Images. It is also mentioned that the image is called for in the top.jsp file for the theme in use, but i cant find that either.

Is there a different file structure – I cant imagine there would be, or am I looking in the wrong places? My install is in /opt/liferay-5.1.0-1/

Any help on were to find these files will be much appreciated

Hi Stuart,

You can find all Liferay images in the <installation_directory>/apache-tomcat/webapps/liferay folder. I think that the image should be into the html/themes/<your_theme>/images directory.
