Stable Alfresco community version
Hi BitNami, hi everybody, I just wanted to point you to this [1] posting on the Alfresco forums. Might be interesting for you. Maybe some of the BitNami staff can see into this and tell me how you currently derive your own stack. Do you patch it in any way when Alfresco publishes patches in their subversion repository? Do you do your own patching? Did you purchase an enterprise subscription for your own stack? After all the community repository doesn’t provide stable branches… I’d be very interested in joining forces with you if we’d really create a stable Alfresco community edition (working title CentCM). As I said in my posts over at Alfresco, however: It has to be done in such a way as to not split the Alfresco community and guarantee the benefit of everybody (Alfresco /and/ the community). Above all it’ll be important to keep the community branch in sync with what Alfresco is doing. Are you interested in such a thing? Jerico |

Hi Jerico, We just package the community version. I will be replying privately with additional details. Cheers Daniel |
