url redirect issue with Gallery mod

I have a site that is accessed internally as ComputerA(external) and externally as ComputerB(internal). I have Rubystack as the base stack with MediaWiki mod, Tracks mod, and Gallery. But I am having trouble with Gallery try to access it from both sides. For example,

If I access http://computerA/applications
click on MediaWiki
It goes to http://computerA/Mediawiki

If I access http://computerB/applications
click on MediaWiki
It goes to http://computerB/Mediawiki

BAD: because I am outside the network being referred to an interal DNS name
If I access http://computerA/applications
click on Gallery
It goes to http://computerB/Gallery/

Good:
If I access http://computerB/applications
click on Gallery
It goes to http://computerB/Gallery/

It has something to do with the Gallery install parameter that asks to identify the hostname to be used internally. The other mods don’t ask for this. Is this by design and is their a way around it?

Some modules require to specify the base URL. The Gallery module installer asks you the Hostname during the installation. You should specify your external IP or domain name. We have recently written a post about how to make public a stack . It could be helpful for you.
