Hi Guys,

Quick question. I’m going to install a new OS.

So i don’t loose my website should i just copy the bitnami stack onto a hard drive.

Install windows 7.

Re-install Bitnami and

Finally copy and paste the original root files over the new ones to replace them.

Thanks,
SB

Hi,

You can backup/restore any Stack doing the following:

1. Stop the services. You can use the shortcuts or from the Windows Service Panel.

2. Copy the installation directory.

3. Before removing the current installation, try to restore it in another machine. Copy the backup in the same path or location in a different Windows machine.

4. Go to a command prompt as “Administrator” user.

> cd
> serviceinstall.bat INSTALL

5. Check the application that everything works well.

I hope it helps.
