LAMP- and RubyStack
Hi there. I’ve got a fresh VPS with 1 GB ram. I’ve decided to give BitNami a go and have tested it out on virtualbox and I was more than satisfied. I have one question though. I need to install Redmine, but at the same time most of the content I will be serving are plain php sites and a repository with virtualhosts for each site / repository root. Should I get the RubyStack and just rely on that stack to serve both redmine and all the php sites or am I better off getting RubyStack and LampStack? I want redmine to be accessible through port 80 and at the same time I want all my php sites to be accessible through port 80 as well. I’ll be using virtualhosts and my DNS to set up subdomains and domains for every site. What do you suggest that I do? |

Hi, I would recommend you to install RubyStack first (with phpmyadmin support) and then Redmine module on top of it. This way you will have Redmine and PHP support in one stack. Cheers, |
