Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL

Everything installed and ran like a charm… until I rebooted and then I received the error message referened in the title.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi,

What is your operating system? Could you try to restart the application? Do you have any other MySQL database? On Windows you can restart the services from the shortcuts and on Linux or OS X you can restart from the terminal:

$ cd <installation_directory>
$ ./ctlscript.sh restart

Hi,

Where you are installing the Stack on Windows, Linux or OS X? If you have installed on Windows you have shortcuts in the Start Menu to restart the services. On OS X or Linux you have to go to the Terminal and execute the instructions that I posted.
