PHP MySQL library version

Hi,
I installed the bitnami-joomla-1.5.15-0-windows-installer in my machine.

The phpmyadmin section shows the following error message – “Your PHP MySQL library version 5.0.51a differs from your MySQL server version 5.1.30. This may cause unpredictable behavior.”

Can anyone tell me exactly why is this problem occurring and the way out?

Hi,

The problem is that Apache was compiled with a MySQL 5.0 version and if you copy the new libmysql.dll does not run correctly. We will maintain the 5.0.x MySQL library at the moment until the new 5.1 version will fully supported.
