Validation Program problem

I am having trouble installing the LAMP stack on a RedHat linux box. It fails to execute the “validation program”. Does anyone know what’s going on?

Here are some relevant snippets from the shell.

Does the /pacmon folder has execution permissions for others? Could you try to install in your home or in a different folder?
