support for language plperl in postgresql

Installed lappstack on fedora 10.
works great
Now I looking into sending an email
out from a postgresql function
and one of the solutions is to use plperl.

createlang plperl
ERROR: could not access file “$libdir/plperl”: No such file or directory

Any help?

Hi Scott,

We have been looking into this. Unfortunately this feature is not supported in the BitNami LAPP Stack. plperl depends on Perl and it would require to also include it in the stack. We’ll investigate how to enable this in a future but I’m afraid this is something that will still take a while.
