Unable to set the phppgadmin authorized user
|
|
Debian Lenny 5 i386 During the installation process after I entered the password for the user ‘postgres’ (Which I had to create myself?) I was given an error message: “Unable to set the phppgadmin authorized user” The rest of the install finished fine, but trying to access phppgadmin results in an internal server error with any attempt to access it. |

Hi, The user to access to your phppgadmin is “administrator” and the password is the same that you set during the installation. Once you can see the phppgadmin application, you can manage your databases using the “postgres” user and the same password. I hope it helps. |

Hello thanks for your help, I am using ‘administrator’ and the password I entered during the setup process but I still get “Internal Server Error Is the error “Unable to set the phppgadmin authorized user” during the install process not something to worry about, or are my problems related? Thanks, again |

We will try to reproduce this issue. Have you installed the Stack as root user? Could you try to install as root? |

Uninstalled and deleted postgres user and tried again with root privileges. The postgres user didn’t need to be created manually but I still received the same error at the end of the installation “Unable to set the phppgadmin authorized user” Started LAPPStack but when I tried to login to phppgadmin as administrator I still received “500 Internal Server Error” Thank you for all your help and time! |
