Can't FTP in to MAMP's install location

I’m using Flow and trying to FTP into my MAMP installation. When I connect to my OS X Server I can see almost every file and folder but not the Applications directory where MAMP is installed.
I tried creating a symlink to the applications folder on the desktop of the server but when I try to get into it I get a “Permission Denied” error.

How do I get FTP access to my MAMP installation?

I think that your FTP server has a security rule to not allow access to your /Application folder. Try to modify your FTP server configuration. Cheers.

Ok it seems correct. Maybe it is a permissions issue. Do you know if your ftp user have access to the /Application folder?
