After a long time, I turned on again an old iMac with OS X 10.2. I tried to install Mediawiki 1.13.0-0 stack on it, but was impossible, it does not install in 10.2 ( I tried to install the MAMPStack and the Mediawiki module too, but it does not install also).
I read somewhere that the version 12, or 11, work on OS X 10.2. The Questions:
a) Which version work on OS X 10.2?
b) Where may I find it to download?
Thanks

Sorry FAO but we have not supported OS X 10.2. The Stacks have been tested on OS X 10.4 and 10.5.

It’s a shame. I would risk to say that there are lots of machines around that could be put in a good use again.
Anyway, where could I found versions 12 and 11? I would like to give a try.

I don’t understand, why would you like to have older versions?

Very simple. With this I could put some good, but old, computer in a good use. In reality what I want is not a old version of the Mediawiki, but a version that work with an old operational system.

I’m afraid that BitNami has never supported OS X 10.2, so an old version of the Stack won’t help you, that’s why I asked :S

Never you thought in support old systems? I think there is lot of old computers that are off, in closets and they could put to work again. Sure that it is not a solution for who needs big performance, but for small business and homeworkers this would be a cheap solution.
