Hello and thanks for a really great bundle of software.
I got the MediaWiki Stack to work just fine on my MacBook with Leopard, but here’s a n00b-question:

After rebooting, there is nothing at http://localhost:8080/mediawiki/index.php/Main_Page , which I assume is because the rebooting also ended the MySQL and PHP processes. How do I restart the MySQL and PHP services, or better yet, make them initialize automatically on startup?

I googled this quite a bit and boldly tried some commands in the terminal but every one of them returns “command unknown” or the like.

Thank you in advance, and keep up the good work!

Hi Burner,

We recently posted a guide on how to install services on OSX. You can find it at http://bitnami.org/article/how-to-install-services-on-osx

Cheers
