Hi all,

I have a serious problem to restart redmine after any file modification ( especially email.yml in my case).
In fact, i need to know what is the right way to restart redmine or rails apps, it seems that restarting apache is probably not the way to do it as I suppose it is only a reverse proxy sitting in front of the actual rails server.

Thanks

Hi,

You can restart the servers from the Start menu shortcuts. Also you can manage the servers in the Windows service panel: redmineMongrel, redmineApache and redmineMySQL.

Avatar antulik 4 post(s) I’ve installed RubyStack and redmine module on top of it. I do have rubystackMySql and rubystackApache services running, but I don’t have mongrel service. Is that what suppose to happen? If so, how do I restart redmine?

Hi,

It should be a “redmineMongrel” service installed. You can restart it or stop/start the services from the Windows shortcuts.
