Hi,

i’ve installed the redmine windows-stack a few days ago. now i wanted to import some tables from my old ticket-system to redmine and noticed, that there is no phpmyadmin.
After reading a while in the forum i think it’s the best to install a fresh ruby-stack and the redmine module.
So I’ve done this successfully. Both redmine-stacks have the same version (1.0 stable) and are running on a equal copy of a virtual maschine (WinXP-Prof 32Bit).

Is there a short and easy way to migrate my old databases with projects and tickets from the redmine stack to the ruby-redmine-module? maybe it’s just copying some files.

the goal is, that i can shut down the old stack and start the new stack in the copy of the old maschine (same hostname, SID, IP, MAC) with all projects and tickets from the old. maybe this is possible without the console and just copying the ringht files and make some changes there?

Edit:
Now it worked with mysqldump. I’ve just to copy my settings and some files.

Hi,

You can take a look this article: http://bitnami.org/article/how-to-backup-and-up… It is not necessary to modify anything in the new machine, you only have to copy in the same location that it was installed in the previous machine.
