Plugin to Assign Redmine Users to Projects

I’m currently developing a Redmine plugin to allow users to register to Redmine and select project at the same Registration form. I’ve combined User registration and project selection into the same form successfully, but failed to write the code to save such information into database.

Can you please help me writing code to register users and assign them to a selected project?
