Redmine date format and language

Hello,

On my bitnami redmine stack 0.9.1 (windows installer), i’ve set language to spanish by default and date format to 01/01/2010

When logging in from browser, i see the start page in spanish (when i enter username and password) then always the main redmine page in english.

Also, date format is always in the format 2010/01/01

In previous redmine stack installer, i can see my pages in spanish (with the same browsers). But the date format is still displaying on 2010/01/01 format

¿what is wrong here?

Hi,

Not sure if this is the solution. You can configure the user language in “your account”. Maybe it is also possible that your browser language is set in “English”.

Thanks for reply, i am using Spanish Browsers (IE 8, Firefox and Chrome, latest versions). My default language is set to Spanish.

I’ve tried the patch for static language posted in redmine website, but they are for priors version to 0.9.1.

I am currently using version 0.8.x that works fine. The only thing is the date format, when editing or adding an issue, date appears as “year/month/day”, but when i views the issue, i see the correct format (day/month/year). ¿There is a way to change the input field date format?
