install bug?
I installed the SAMPSTACK today, and the install appeared to go ok, with exception, which is not really a major issue or anything like that… I used a commandline install, and when the progress bar hit 100%, I saw apache and mysql start up. Then it prompted me as to whether or not I wanted to start SAMPSTACK. I said n, and then checked the processes, and everything was still running. I re-did the install a few times, and each time, I had the same results. Also, when I did the install, I put it in /u01/sampstack-1.0-beta-3 instead of /opt/sampstack-1.0-beta-3 where the default was. |

Hi JohnP, Thanks for reporting it. This is the normal behavior, when the Stack asks you “Do you wnat to start SAMPStack?” really means that if you want to open your default navigator and enter in the BitNami main page. This approach avoid to wait to restart the servers. Maybe the question should be more specific. |
