installing modules fails

On 2 occasions, I have tried to install addon modules for sugar….

Failed to copy /opt/bitnami/apps/sugarcrm/htdocs/cache/upload/upgrades/temp/SOtPKX/Reschedule/detailviewdefs.php to custom/modules/Calls/metadata/detailviewdefs.php

is the error that the module installer responds with…

This suggests to me that there are some permission errors for either directories or files

Can anyone help ??

This was a virgin install of the sugarcrm bitnami virtual machine…

Currently the BitNami Stack only supports 1 module installer per application. Are you trying to install more than one? Could you post what si you operating system and what stacks are you installed? I do not understand what do you mean with “was a virgin sugarcrm vm with only mc installed..”

I have the same problem.. tried to install spanish module, and failed. Is the first module I’ve tried to install. When try to install, pressing the “install” button, screen goes white. Then after several minutes uploaded .zip appear in the below window (same place) and doesn´t go up to the installed window.

beltran, what does mean that “supports 1 module installer?” don’t understand the point…do you mean module “installer” or “installed”?

I found the problem: chmod sugarcrm/htdocs directory to 777. don’t know if this is needed for the whole directory, but this solved the problem.
