Wordpress install and preexisting packages

Hi, I’m currently trying to get your Bitnami Wordpress stack to work. I installed it, command like style, on my dedicated server. The dedicated server had a previous installation of Mysql and PHP and Apache. Once the installation was complete, I saw your landing page. I decided to restart httpd and now I’m defaulting back to the /var/www/html folder. Further, none of the dependencies seemed to be working (mysql not responding myphpadmin not accessible). Any advice?

Did you selected any port for the web server during the installation? The default port for the stack is 8080 (80 if you installed as root). Maybe the other server uses the same port and there are some conflicts.
