Wordpress is not loading the Images and Themes

Dear All,

I am having this problem for last a few days since i got to know about bitmami installer and i installed wordpress via this facility, i was wondering, when i install the fresh copy, it works fine for 1-2 days or u can say 3-4 OS boot ups after that it start bugging and wp stops loading images and themes except for a bit of text that was set on the site, i was searching on the same blog and i found it is probably apache server problem, i need help and i will appreciate if anyone tell me if m doin something wrong at my end or if it happens quite often.Info regarding my machine is as follows

Mac Book Pro 2Ghz duocore, 2G RAM
Vista Home Basic
