Hi,

I get this error message as I try to rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess: You can’t use names that start with a dot (.) because only the system can use these names. Choose a different name.

Is there a other way to rename the file?

How do I change htaccess.txt to .htaccess on a Mac
running Joomla 1.5.5 on OS X Leopard.

Simply renaming will not do the trick.
