Si copias todo el directorio completo no hay problema, tendrás todos los directorios y base de datos incluido.

In this how-to you can find how to migrate your files to BitNami Cloud Hosting. It is very similar for a Virtual Appliance, the only difference is that you do not need the private key, only the user/password of your machine.

You have to install the compiler tools in your system. For RedHat you can run the following command as root user:

# yum install gcc gcc-c++ autoconf automake

It could be a problem in your system becasue we have been tried to reproduce several times in several Windows versions (XP, XP SP2, Vista, 7, 2003, and 2008). Could you post how you fixed the error to implement the changes in our Stacks? Did you try to install the Stack in a different machine? Thanks.

Right, the user is root and the password is the same that you set during the installation. The “bitnami” user is only to connect the application with the database for security reasons.

The problem is that you need root privileges to modify this file. Try to connect through SSH and edit the phpmyadmin.conf file:

sudo vi /opt/bitnami/apps/phpmyadmin/conf/phpmyadmin.conf

Then restart the server:

$ sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache

Hi,

The problem is that you installed the Stack as a regular user and you can only bind ports higher than 1024. Try the following from a Terminal to install the Stack as Administrator user:

$ sudo ./bitnami-mampstack*/Contents/MacOS/installbuilder.sh

This will configure Apache to run in the 80 port.

Redmine does not ship PHP. You should install RubyStack and then the Redmine module to use PHP and Ruby in the same Stack. Maybe Apache is using the PHP installed in your system. If this is case, try to install the php-mysql extension.
