Topic: SugarCRM / Managing the servers with a graphical interface I tried your advise from your tip beltran. I installed the MAMP stack and copied the control.app to the SugarCRM installation. Then, thinking that all was well, I uninstalled the MAMP stack. While the copy of control.app remained, it no longer functioned (there was no listing of servers to start or stop). It seems it was pre-configured to work only with that setup. Or, when it uninstalled the MAMP stack it uninstalled part of the SugarCRM stack too. My next try is uninstall the SugarCRM stack and re-install the MAMPstack with the SugarCRM module. However, I have not been able to spot the SugarCRM module on the BitNami site, only the SugarCRM Stack. Can you please post the link for the module. |

Topic: SugarCRM / Managing the servers with a graphical interface I noticed on the BitNami blog that there is (Beta) software to manage the servers with a graphical interface. http://bitnami.org/article/managing-your-servers-with-the-new-graphical-interface-beta I would love to be able to turn off the servers for the SugarCRM stack when they are not in use, as they take a lot of resources. However I did not see that software included in the stack. As an osX user I would be able to use it. Perhaps someone could be kind enough to tell me how I can download just that individual application. Alternatively, I would be very grateful if someone would write out the command I could use to paste into Terminal that would do the same thing. Thank you. |

Topic: SugarCRM / Very slow response from my localhost server Thanks once again antonio. I may be misunderstanding something, but a spotlight search of my mac indicates that there are only two folders with the name etc on my machine. One is from a different program called Sky Chart and the other is in the folder SugarCRM 5.1.0-0/PHP/etc. There are only two files within that folder, the first is pear.conf and the second php.ini There are no files at all named hosts anywhere. Would it be a hidden file? What now? |

Topic: SugarCRM / Very slow response from my localhost server Thank you antonio for replying. I found the uninstaller but I hope not to need to use it. However, it seems that I am not as technically inclined as you are. Please explain where I would find that file on my mac. It looks to be a LINUX directory and I do not know what the equivalent is in the Mac. Thanks. |

Topic: SugarCRM / Very slow response from my localhost server I installed the sugarcrm stack on my macbook 10.4.11 but the response time for any thing to show on safari 3.2 or firefox 3.0.4 is slow as molasses. It could take over a minute just to get to the login page. The same is true for other pages although it does make it there eventually. I have 2 gigs of RAM and nothing else running. Any ideas of how to fix? Also, how do I uninstall the stack? Thanks |
