Topic: General / When is Bitnami Studio going to be available? Hi Blake, We apologize for the delay in getting back to you on this. We have decided to integrate BitNami Studio into BitNami Cloud Hosting, rather than launching it as a separate offering. We do not yet have a release date to share. Which features are you looking for in specific? Do want to deploy your stacks to the Amazon Cloud, or do you want to be able to create VM images? Which components are you interested in using? Best regards, Erica |

Topic: Cloud (Amazon AWS & BitNami Cloud Hosting) / Ec2 instance save and restore? Hi mc2, To be able to shut down and restore images without losing data, you need to use a BitNami EBS image, rather than our AMIs. The EBS Images were just released today. Here’s a brief blog post on the release: http://bitnami.org/article/bitnami-stacks-now-a… Using EBS will also allow you to create snapshots of your instances and save them to S3 for backup purposes. -Erica |

Topic: Cloud (Amazon AWS & BitNami Cloud Hosting) / Can someone explain the difference between the native bitnami and cloud bitnami stacks Hi Rameez, I just want to let you know that we just released the BitNami Stacks as EBS images. This way, you get the advantages of both using EBS and using a BitNami Stack built specifically for it (so the configuration is taken care of.) Here’s a link to a brief blog post: http://bitnami.org/article/bitnami-stacks-now-a… -Erica |

Topic: Alfresco / Alfresco Enterprise as Bitnami stack? The Enterprise Edition is their commercial product. We do not have any plans to release a BitNami Stack for that version. We will do our best to keep up with major releases of their community version, though. -Erica |
