Hi!

I’m using your Alfresco stack and almost everything works fine. :-)

But the conversion of Office 2007 documents doesn’t work at all and I think the problem is the OpenOffice.org version provided. Support for Office 2007 started on OOo 3.0, I think.

I know you’re working on a new Alfresco stack with some bugs addressed and the SWF Tools installed. Could it include OOo 3 or 3.1? Will it include Alfresco Labs 3.2?

Probé a instalar como usuario sin privilegios y lo hizo perfectamente, sin instalar nada fuera del directorio que indiqué.

Ya sé que resulta un poco pesado, pero necesito la seguridad de que si quiero que KT se instale en, por ejemplo, /opt/misCosas, no se toque ni modifique NADA fuera de /opt/misCosas. Que no se toque el cron, ni el init.d, ni ningún otro fichero de configuración, y que no se copie ningún fichero fuera de ese directorio.

Perdón por la insistencia pero, ¿puedes asegurar que es así? Ante cualquier duda, prefiero que me lo digas antes de arriesgarme…

Hola beltran, gracias por tu respuesta.

No he probado el instalador de KnowledgeTree porque no sé si va a modificar algo en el sistema…

Vuestros stacks me gustan porque sé que todo lo necesario está en una carpeta, que no va a modificar nada fuera de ahí y que si hay que desinstalar basta con borrar la carpeta.

¿Sabes si el instalador de KT hace lo mismo? Lo que trato de evitar es tener que instalar OpenOffice, el JRE, etc. en una máquina en la que sólo tengo permiso para trabajar en determinadas carpetas…

¿Hay alguna fecha prevista para su publicación? ¿Será la versión 3.6.0? ¿Incluirá OpenOffice?

beltran, Alfresco can be extended with AMPs (Alfresco Module Packages).

I’m also stuck because can’t follow the Alfresco instructions to install a couple of AMPs I would like to try: the alfresco.war file isn’t there, and the same happens with the apply_amps.sh file.

Topic: KnowledgeTree / No LDAP support

Hi!

This is my first message and I want to thank you for your great job with all those stacks… really nice!

I’m evaluating KnowledgeTree with your stack and I’ve found that can’t use the LDAP authentication option because the PHP included has not LDAP support.

Could this issue solved on the next KnowledgeTree stack?
