Topic: Drupal / migration problem from stack to live site Hi, Yes this helps, it is good to know how to execute those commands, thanks. In this case I was lucky that rebuilding was relatively easy. On a general note: I don’t know if I had a particular issue in my Drupal stack or if this is a general thing but is it normal that a db size grows so fast with only few entries? I had about 20 nodes in the stack and already at a 700 mb ibdata1 file. Best, |

Topic: Drupal / migration problem from stack to live site Small update: I realised yesterday it’s faster to rebuild the site on the live server than solve this db problem (fortunately there was little content). |

Topic: Drupal / migration problem from stack to live site Thanks again! I took a look but could not figure out where to put the shell commands for mysqldump (I am on a Mac and the command is not recognised in terminal after starting up mysql and apache on my MacBook). To be honest: I am new to this kind of operation so learning here.. Thanks, |

Topic: Drupal / migration problem from stack to live site Hello, I have an issue with migrating a stack and getting it to run correctly on the server. Our IT Dept has created a server and I have moved the contents of the apps/drupal/htdocs folder in the stack to the server. Following that I modified the settings.php file in /sites/default so that all details are correct (dbname etc). The site is recognised but what I get when I visit the URL is a standard Drupal welcome screen. I can see that modules I added in /sites/all/modules are in the installation and my custom theme as well. But it seems as if I have to set up everything again and no content is available that was on my stack. Any thoughts on what I am missing highly appreciated, |

Topic: Drupal / Mysql issue: growing ibdata1 file This file is growing pretty fast in my stack (6.3). I wonder how I can prevent it from auto-extending? Editing the my.cnf file and inserting “skip-innodb” doesn’t do the trick, I get a start up error. I have little knowledge of mysql but apparently it can be set up so that this does not occur. I wonder how that would work on Drupal? All best, |

Topic: Drupal / Access Drupal stack on Mac via external pc on local network Hi, Thanks! But if I do that I still cannot access the stack. Should I use this: http://localnetworkIP/drupal ? Or something else? Gerben |

Topic: DokuWiki / starting on a Mac Hi Antonio, Thanks. I am half-way there: changing to the installation directory is no problem. But nothing happens after I use ”$ ./ctlscript.sh start”. I get no message… Gerben |

Topic: DokuWiki / starting on a Mac I have just read the help info coming with the stack, and on the site, but can’t find the answer to this for a Mac. Each time I start up the computer and try to access the wiki (http://127.0.0.1:8080/dokuwiki) I get an error saying no connection can be made with the server. I assume Apache needs to be started up first? But how to do that on a Mac. Thanks, |
