Topic: Drupal / Reset recover phpadmin pwd Antonio, thanks for the tip. Other than huge holes ripped in the hull, releasing a huge oil slick, everything is fine. Actually, everything is working and back to normal, including my habits of recording what the various passwords are that I’ve set on this project. Again, the response is appreciated, and hopefully I can pass along something to another someday. |

Topic: Drupal / Reset recover phpadmin pwd Hi, total should-know-better—idiot here. Installed Drupal stack (windows Vista 64-bit) recently to test if I wanted to work in Drupal as opposed to other things I’ve used. Began developing a test site, liked it (all on dedicated PC). Usually very careful about saving passwords, but apparently this time, not so much. Took site off-line, did some tweaking, hit log off and immediately knew I was screwed. Can’t log back on to phpMyAdmin on localhost. Know my user name, could find my encrypted pwd, could find my MySQL pwd in plaintext. Tried that and all my usual throw-away/don’t care-too-much passwords, all to no avail. I could redo it all, but if that ain’t necessary, I’d rather not. Any way to recover or reset the password requested by phpMyAdmin when logging on? Thanks. |
