Topic: DokuWiki / Has Dokuwiki been abandoned?

There are many, many updates waiting to be included in the installer but so far nothing has changed. Just wanting to know if abandonment is indeed the case.

Topic: PhpBB / fails on install

Ok, so I’m currently running dokuwiki on the same computer and would like to install phpbb. I install it. IIS is on the same box and that is given port 80. Dokuwiki is running port 81. I gave phpbb3 port 82 and hostname of 127.0.0.1.

Upon trying to access it I get the following error:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Table ‘bitnami_phpbb3.phpbb3_config’ doesn’t exist [1146]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Any clue? this looks like a general phpbb error so I’ll try looking it up for specifics but I’m guessing something wasn’t done right on the install, I guess a mistake by me?

Looks like they have another release. Should we even try to manually upgrade with this incremental changes or should we always swap out the full bitnami stack?

Just installed, works fine right out of the box. So, at this point, how do I migrate my data from the old one to the new one? i copied over the data folder and it tells me it can’t find the attic. I rename the copied data folder to “data_new,” rename the original back to “data”, everything works again.

Thank God! Tried upgrading my test system manually and it sharted all over itself.

So I trust that importing my data should just be a matter of copying over the contents of apps/dokuwiki/htdocs/data to the new install?

A new release candidate came out on 4-11-08. Do we need a new BitNami stack to make everything work properly or can we get away with just dumping the new dokuwiki version in the appropriate folder and copy our page and media files back in?

Topic: DokuWiki / Is there an install guide?

I’m not sure what’s required to get one of these things up and running. My initial assumption with this being a “virtual machine” is that everyting is included with the machine but it’s asking me a about Apache. Well, I already have IIS installed on my machine. Will there be a conflict? Any link to a FAQ would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
