Topic: MAMPStack / Mediawiki/Mampstack

Hi
really weird, as the modified php still doesnot work, its using the old version. Have reset the browser, even tried another one to no avail.

restarted bitnami, rebooted, cleaned osx caches, still a problem.

Can you tell me where the apache cache is located so I can run the cleaner on it?

Thanks

Topic: MediaWiki / error during installation - problem copying LocalSettings.php

Hi

fresh install of mampstack 1.2.1-1, followed by latest mediawiki bitnami-mediawiki-1.15.3-0-module-osx-x86-installer.app
gets me the original poster error, on 10.6.3.

Then trying to set up wiki gets me
Your system has a combination of PHP and libxml2 versions which is buggy and can cause hidden data corruption in MediaWiki and other web apps. Upgrade to PHP 5.2.9 or later and libxml2 2.7.3 or later! ABORTING (http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=45996 for details).

Topic: MAMPStack / mampstack, xdebug and netbeans

Hi

yes it works, I am off to beat myself with a big stick for being so stupid!!!

:)

Managed to get the code working without the debugger, however it would be useful to have xdebug working
as I am using mampstack for development.

calling phpinfo.php from the built in version 4 apple php works from the command line.
Using the same approach, but using the php in php directory supplied with mampstack does not.
Neither does calling it in the way you suggested work either.

This is on a new mampstack 1.2-0 install on osx 10.4.11

Regarding xdebug, I know you do not support it, I am trying to get it to work.

The other MAMP can do it apparently, but I want to use mampstack.

Topic: MAMPStack / mampstack, xdebug and netbeans

Hi

I am trying to get this working, but failing.

I read that zend optimiser needs to be turned off, is it installed?

If not, do I add the xdbug extension to the apache config instead of the php.ini file?

Also, is there an equivalent of phppinfo, as setting one up in the root directory as index.php with the lines
<?
phpinfo();
?>

doesnt work

Am I being stupid?

Thanks

Topic: MAMPStack / Clean reinstall

I removed mampstack for osx using the uninstaller, reinstalled afresh, when I look at the applications,
I see the apps that where there before (despite using their uninstallers prior to uninstalling mampstack)

How can I get rid of these entries and start afresh?

tks

It seems you do not have enough permissions to bind to the port or the port is taken by another application.
Please select another one.

I have installed the latest Mamp, MediaWiki and wordpress, basically using all the defaults, mysql is on port 3306

Can someone assist me?
