BitNami Cloud Images

BitNami Cloud Images contain your BitNami-packaged application of choice and all of the software it requires. They are fully configured and ready to run on a cloud computing service. BitNami Cloud Images are currently available for the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and GoGrid, and support for additional clouds is coming soon.

The major benefit of using a cloud computing platform to run your BitNami application is that you pay only for the time that you have the application running. There is no need to purchase additional hardware or install and set up the application on your own machine. Once you sign up for an Amazon EC2 or GoGrid account, you can simply launch a BitNami Cloud Image instance and you will be able to start using the application right away. When you're done using the application for a period of time, you can stop running it and you won't be billed for compute time until you need to run it again. We will be providing additional options in the near future that address this issue.
